This wasn’t your typical walkway and stair job. The homeowner didn’t have a clear vision—just a request for something special. They gave us creative freedom, and we delivered a custom finish that goes beyond the standard.

We hand-tooled every joint and added a tooled-in border. To elevate the look even more, we used a charcoal dye in the concrete, giving the project a bold, modern tone.

The customer wasn’t a fan of full exposed aggregate, so we found a clean compromise: the walkway itself has a broom finish, while the faces of the stairs feature exposed aggregate, added some contrast without making it look overdone.

The result is a one-of-a-kind finish that stands out, without screaming for attention. Built with precision. Finished with purpose.
